Meet the Author :)

It was recently suggested to me by a close friend that I start one of these, so I decided to give it a shot.

I'm 21 years old (I'll be 22 in 3 weeks) and I am a wife, a mother, and a dance teacher slash small business owner. These three things consume my life... and I couldn't be happier about it.

Wife
I am married to the love of my life, Tyler. He is a 25 year old alum of Kennesaw State University and currently works as a financial service advisor for a credit union in Kennesaw. We met October 7, 2007 at Outback Steakhouse. He was my trainer the very first day I worked there. Two weeks later, he threw a french fry through my hoop earring while I was at a Posi station, and thus began the flirting in the kitchen at Outback. :) I still grin every time I think back on it. A few days later we got set up on a group date at the movies, and we've been together since. We got married on November 8, 2008, so our two-year anniversary is just around the corner! I am so excited.

Mother
I have two BEAUTIFUL babies!! Greenleigh is 18 months old and Skyler is 5 months. Yes, I know, I'm crazy... but I adore being a young mom. Greenleigh is one, but she acts about four. Her vocabulary is ridiculously extensive for her age, and she puts words together in ways that alot of three year olds can't. Granted, she's mine and I'm a little biased, but she is SERIOUSLY smart. Skyler is the sweetest little boy ever, he's almost always smiling. And he is the mirror image of his daddy- it's eerie. I am a stay-at-home mother most of the time, and these two are my world.

Dance Teacher

Slash Small Business Owner. I own my own dance studio here in our small town. It is my dream come true! I've been a dancer for as long as I can remember, and my passion is teaching dance to kids. I teach ballet, tap, jazz/hip-hop, and gymnastics to all ages 3 and up. I even have a Moms class where we do aerobic dance! I love love love love my job! Tyler promised me when we first met that he would help make my dream a reality, and he did! I am so incredibly lucky and I am so thankful that I am able to have a job where I can raise my children myself as well as help provide for my family.

I love everything about my life, and I mean everything. I love our little town, my in-laws are amazing, my little brother is the coolest (he only lives 15 minutes away now!), and I have absolutely incredible friends. There isn't much to complain about on my end. :)

Right now I'm getting ready to watch the Grey's premiere for the umpteenth time to unwind from the day, so this is it for now!

We'll talk later!
